I purchased the tractor from Gene's Recycling in Attica, Ohio.
I always liked the look of Olivers when I was little so when I saw it at the bone yard complete ( side curtains) I made an offer and brought it home to Cleveland.
Now since having 2 major back operations my desire to finish the Oliver have faded, this is why I am selling.
Restored parts:
Complete engine rebuild, new liners, pistons, seals etc.
New brakes and seals.
Rad serviced and checked.
Clutch.
Generator.
New water pump.
New front wheel bearings.
Distributor rebuilt.
new plug wires and plugs.
carb rebuilt.
pto serviced
starter serviced
Frame, trans, rear axle and engine painted.
When I removed the orange triangle sticker from the seat I found the dealer sticker for Attica Oliver, this is when I decided NOT to restore and paint the tins, rear fender and seat assy.
What is needs:
Finish the wiring.
Needs rear wheel hoops and tires, could use new fronts as well. rear hoops are rusted and will not hold air anymore.
Seat spring rubbers.
Gauges.
Battery ( It runs tip top but I steal the battery out of my truck to get it running)
This is a nice tractor for someone to finish and enjoy.
I found aftermarket rear steps at Gene's as well as the belt pulley.
